For my first ever newborn session, we went all the way down south to Anaheim to shoot baby Ivan and his beautiful family. Ivan Troy Pineda was born February 3, 2010. I had promised Helena that I would shoot her first family session. Unfortunately, that day it was cold and pouring rain, so we had to get creative inside their home. It was a joy to see baby Ivan for the first time and also an awesome time hanging out with the new family. Archie even showed us the video of Helena delivering Ivan on the big screen! Craziness!!

Uncle Cris and Auntie Arlette get married...again
After 24 years, my Uncle Cris and Auntie Arlette fell in love again. When my Aunt asked me to take their photos, she thought I was just going to take some here and some there at the ceremony with some family shots. When I showed up at her house while she was getting ready, she had no idea I was going to take shots from beginning to end. She was shy and didn't even want to get into the whole "real wedding thing". But this is a real whole wedding thing! Plus, my Uncle Cris said that this only happens once. Actually twice for them, but you get the point.

Sneak Peek: Pineda Family
About a week an a half ago, we headed to Anaheim to visit our good family friend Helena and her family. Yes, Helena has a family! Ivan Troy Pineda was born February 3, 2010. Since it was raining and cold that day, we had no choice but to stick with some indoor shots at their home. Come back later to see the rest.

Late last year I said that 2010 is going to be one busy year for me and let me tell you, it's been NUTZ!!! I got weddings, family sessions, birthdays, portrait and engagement sessions left and right this year. From time to time I get requests to make logos or business cards from small businesses and it's kind of a little break from photography. A past client of mine from San Diego wanted me to update their logo and a new image for their growing business. She caught me a little off guard because she wanted them done quickly. I had to come up with a logo, brochure, business card and a letterhead in one week only because I had a wedding last Saturday and one coming this Saturday. Good luck TIna!

Neighborhood Art #1
The wife and I decided that the best way to get better at photography is to basically practice, practice, and practice. And what people don't know is that the best subjects are usually just in our neighborhoods. You will be surprise what you would see just walking down your block. There is art everywhere you look and sometimes you don't see it. Here are a few from today's shoot. If you would like to join us in our daily neighborhood art, just hit me up. Bring any kind of camera and shoot away!
