Flower Festival

Every year Lompoc, CA. celebrates the Flower Festival. Since my lovely wife loves flowers, I thought she would enjoy a trip over there to check out one of their many fields of beautiful flowers. My wife felt like she was in flower heaven! Haha.

The Garcia Family

Below are a few pictures of my coworker, Sonya Garcia and her family. She initially wanted pictures of her little son Paul, but I thought it would be a good idea to include everyone in the family. This family is by far the easiest people I have ever worked with. I told them to be natural and they did just that. I hardly had to pose them since they are entirely a beautiful family. This family was so comfortable to work with like I knew them for a long time. They were so comfortable I even got Sophia to eat dirt.

Project Homeless

These photos were taken several years ago for my photography class at the Art Institute of California-San Diego. Our final project was to choose any subject that we like. I chose to do a series of homeless people in and around San Diego. It was a mission let me tell you. Some I offered money, sandwiches or some just loved getting their picture taken. Some were vicious and I recall three homeless drunk ones wanted to kick our ass for asking. It was tough seeing how they live and eat. We should never complain in life because we have it so much better than all of these people. Here are a few from that day.

DJ's Graduation

One happy grad, two families. These photos were taking about 2 weeks ago. Dj graduated from Lakeview Jr. High and his parents thought it would be a great idea if I took some memorable pictures of them. This was my first family pictures done and let me tell you, its pretty tough.
