Amanda & Davis' I Do - Cambria, CA. - Cambria Pines Lodge

I've known Amanda since she was a little girl, watching her play basketball with my little sister Sheila. When she got engage with her longtime boyfriend Davis, they informed me that they were interested in hiring me as their wedding photographer. I was more than happy to agree. In one of our consultations, Davis assured me that he was not a picture person at all. He said that he would just take a couple pictures and that was it. So I was really surprised when during the wedding, Davis was more than willing to pose to as many pictures as I wanted to take. That shows how much he really loves Amanda. He would do anything to make her happy.

Their wedding ceremony was held in a beautiful garden in Cambria, CA. Trees are everywhere, the flower bed behind one of the cottages will make you want to stay there and dream about a beautiful life and a promising future with the love of your life. In short, a perfect place to hold a romantic wedding.

While the ceremony was short, the dinner and dancing lasted forever. The DJ played great music and everyone had a grand time. That made me camera happy, too! I took more pictures than I could remember shooting an event. See for yourselves!

Inspiration In Motion

A lot of my inspiration comes from different sources all over the world, whether its from tv, magazines, books, other photographers, nature, love stories, or even traveling the world. One inspiration is from a production team called StillMotion. I've been following them for quite awhile now and everytime I watch one of their videos I just want to get out of my seat and go shooting. They were introduce to me by my wife who surfs the Wedding Bee website daily. StillMotion are a group filled with talented people, most who didn't even have a degree or a even class in videography. Watching their videos not only give me inspiration for my photography, but it motivates me in all sorts of aspects in life. Their videos make me happy, cry, and sometimes just makes you wish you can just stop your day job and just travel the world. I love seeing people happy and thats why I love what I do. Whats cool about it is that they don't even show one photo camera in the video, but still gives the audience what they provide and sell. Lorraine & Bill's I Do - Ojai, CA.

Last month, we went to Ojai, CA. to shoot Lorraine and Bill's wedding. It was a perfect sunny day for a wedding. Lorraine is part Filipina and part Mexican while Bill is Irish. Though they are from diffrerent cultures, it's apparent that they are so much in love with each other. It was my first time going to Ojai and I can say that I love the place. There are lots of trees that serves as backdrops to my pictures. Lorraine is a rock-a-billy at heart and she even hired the famous Hydramatics band for their second reception at Bill's dad's barn.
